as summer approaches in hawaii, it’s getting hotter and hotter. i love the sun and heat, but i’m also built for the cold. hailing from new england, and northern european stock, i’m not opposed to cold, dark winters.
in fact - i embrace them.
so, as the heat is turning up, i turn my mind towards the cold. i fantasize about dark places, and this takes me back to my roots. this also brings me to think about the beautiful lake i grew up on, and how it was our shining destination as we endured those cold winters.
here’s a sampling of what i’ve been listening to while channeling those cold and dark places . . . and who could better bring me to those places than my fellow Scandies?
skål!
